Catalog + Advertisement + Logo Design
I created a CLOAK clothing catalog and
advertisement series to have a better
understanding of layouts. CLOAK doesn’t
have a catalog yet so, I used information
and stylization I found on their websites
and social media. CLOAK is a clothing
brand owned by a Youtube group
comprised of: Markiplier, Jacksepticeye,
and Pokimane. They aim to sell clothes
that are comfortable and
video game related.
Their channels always feel very put
together, clean, and professional. I
wanted that feeling to reflect on my
catalog so went for a more minimalist
style. Since their brand is still very new
they often experiment. For this reason,
I did try to keep that absurdist horror
and humor in their brand in the mind
with playful photos along with dark
mysterious content
Type experiments
These are type experiments I did to find the best typeface and size for the catalog. The brand already has a nice typeface so I referenced their website to bring the look together and find the best size for the logo on the cover.
advertisements
I did an extended brand project for Cloak of some of the products they sell. This clothing drop has special material that reveals illustrations when wet. They are referred to as ‘memories.’ I took this idea and created three ads highlighting their water-changing abilities and keeping the same absurdist horror feeling to each one.
